Tisha Stadnicki

Tisha Stadnicki is a teacher, singer, pianist, and songwriter. She made her debut in public at the tender age of five with her mother's own musical group. Tisha has performed professionally since the age of thirteen as a singer and pianist throughout Massachusetts, Maine, Washington DC, and Canada, singing pop, jazz, rock, R&B and blues.

Having led her own pop and jazz groups, she now shares her leadership skills with her students. She has been a guest on such programs as the Jerry Lewis Telethon, WBZ's "People Are Talking, "KDKA's Pittsburgh 2Day" out of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and WGMC. Most recently, one of her jazz videos was broadcast on BET's "Jazz Discovery" program out of Washington, DC. Not only has she studied music and theory in both private and academic settings, but drama and dance as well. Tisha Stadnicki is a member of ASCAP.

One of her originals was selected to be on a national CD put out by "CD Review Magazine." She also was featured on "The Rock n' Roll Anthology" series CD #19. An original jazz ballad "For Everything I Am" is featured, along with a number of standards, in her recently completed CD. She is accompanied by her father, Ken Sawyer, saxophonist and music teacher. In addition to basic training, she specializes in lyric interpretation and improvisation for voice.
